Our studio was founded by Lelia Haller in the 1930's. After studying in Paris, Ms. Haller returned to Louisiana to begin her life long work as a teacher of the fine art of dance. The combined techniques of the French, Italian, Russian and Spanish dance styles influenced the unique development of Lelia Haller, the compleat ballerina. Continuing her teaching style today, the current owners, Jennifer Hazelwood and Shannon Rodriguez, have remained true to the art of dance through the eyes of such a legend. | The studio will be closed August 30-September 6, 2010 for summer break. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 7th with the new Fall schedule. The Fall Re-registration form will be mailed the first week of August to all currently enrolled students. Please return to the studio with payment ASAP. Anyone starting classes in the Fall should use the registration form below. Re-registration Form Our very own Ballet Louisiane presents "The Nutcracker." Auditions will be held at the studio for anyone interested ages 6-adult. Calling all dancers, gymnasts, and actors on Saturday, September 11th OR Saturday, September 18th Ages 6-11 2:30-4:00 Ages 12-adult 4:00-5:00 The performances will be held the weekend of December 10th.
