Our History

Established in 1985, Lelia Haller Ballet Classique has been providing ballet education and training to students for over 30 years.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in ballet technique, while also allowing students to explore their creativity and develop their artistry. We offer classes for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Our Legacy

Our Legacy

Our studio was founded by Lelia Haller in 1928. After studying in Paris, Ms. Haller returned to Louisiana to begin her life long work as a teacher of the fine art of dance. The combined techniques of the French, Italian, Russian and Spanish dance styles influenced the unique development of Lelia Haller, the complete ballerina. Continuing her teaching style today, the current owners, Jennifer Hazelwood and Shannon Rodriguez, have remained true to the art of dance through the eyes of such a legend.
